About the Emergency Dental Practice<\/h3>

Outside of our opening hours, emergency care is provided by the Dental Emergency Practice. They can be reached by phone and will assist you at their location in Leiderdorp. Alternatively, alternative locations may be possible upon request.<\/p>

A number of things you should also take into account:<\/h3>
  • When calling: always have your BSN number (or that of the person for whom you want to make an appointment) at hand, as well as the name of your own dental practice.<\/li>
  • Emergency dental practice needs this to schedule an appointment.<\/li>
  • You must bring a valid ID.<\/li>
  • You must pay for your consultation and\/or emergency treatment at the Emergency Dental Practice immediately by debit card or credit card.<\/li>
  • The costs of emergency treatment are equal to the costs of regular dental treatment. These costs are determined by the NZa (Dutch Healthcare Authority) and are revised annually.<\/li>
  • Statutory surcharges may apply for evening, night, weekend services and during recognised public holidays.<\/li>
  • You will always receive an invoice from the Emergency Dental Practice.<\/li>
  • If you have additional dental insurance, you can submit your bill to your health insurer afterwards. For information about reimbursements from your additional insurance, you should consult your own health insurer.<\/li>
  • Children under the age of 18 who urgently need a dentist can have their costs partially or fully reimbursed from their basic insurance.<\/li><\/ul>
