An intake or check-up at the dentist is an important step in maintaining your oral health. It is not only a moment to identify possible problems, but also to receive advice on preventive care. Intake

Your dentist will ask about your medical history, any medications you are taking, allergies and previous dental treatments. This will help you get a complete picture of your health.
You will be asked about your dental history, such as previous problems, treatments and any concerns you may have.
You can share your concerns or questions about your oral health, such as aesthetics or pain.
Next comes the control part.

Control

The dentist inspects your teeth, molars, gums and oral cavity for any problems, such as cavities, gingivitis or other abnormalities.
If necessary, x-rays are taken to identify underlying problems not visible during visual inspection.
The dentist checks for plaque and tartar and discusses the importance of good oral hygiene.
Based on the findings, the dentist will advise you on oral care, diet and any treatments that may be needed. This can range from applying fluoride to scheduling follow-up appointments for treatments.
In addition, the dentist can also make recommendations for preventive measures, such as the use of mouthwashes or special toothbrushes.

An intake usually takes 20 minutes, a check-up 10 minutes. It is a chance to discuss any concerns and ensure that your teeth remain healthy.
